Unbreakable mirrors - Hammerglass
Hammerglass shatterproof mirrors reduce the cost of damage or vandalism and increase personal safety in the areas where they are installed. The nano-technological surface treatment makes Hammerglass mirrors resistant to most chemicals. In the event of graffiti, markings or other soiling, most known cleaning agents can be used without damaging the mirrors. Hammerglass is recommended for public toilets, changing rooms, sports facilities, lifts, prisons and psychiatric wards.
Lightweight mirrors with or without frame
Hammerglass weighs only 1.2 kg/m2 per mm thickness, half the weight of conventional glass. With such a low glass weight, the weight of a 6 mm thick mirror glass is only 7.2 kg/m2. Because of their low weight, the mirrors are easy to handle without heavy lifting and can also be securely bonded to the surface in larger formats.
GLASS WALL MIRROR
The possibilities of individual design are basically unlimited. The mirror glass can be cut to special dimensions and in any desired shape. The low weight of the mirrors facilitates the handling of large glass sections. We also offer standard sizes:

MIRROR WITH FRAME
Elegant unbreakable mirror with bevelled edges, made of compact Formica/pressure laminate. The frame design ensures that it blends in well with the wall surface. The bevelled edge is very difficult to grip and prevents the mirror from coming off the wall. The structure of the frame also allows for the replacement of mirrored glass as opposed to mirrored glass glued to the wall.
The mirror is supplied with a white frame as standard, but can also be made in different laminates such as birch, ash or walnut. The mirror is supplied in the standard size of 380×600 mm, but can also be made in special sizes. The mirror glass itself weighs 1.2 kg/m2 per mm thickness, which is half the weight of normal glass. A 6 mm thick mirror glass weighs 7.2 kg/m2. The weight of the frame is not included.

Hammerglass is mounted with through bolts (no drilling), mounting points or clamps. Drilling is done in the factory or on site. For mounting with glue or silicone, contact Hammerglass AB to choose the right product. For large surfaces (~1500x2000mm), Hammerglass should be pre-glued to a flat surface to ensure the best optical effect. The framed mirror is fixed with a continuous screw.
